I share my Birthday with INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

Yes, I had another fabulous loop around the sun! And, what a journey it has been. I am honored and proud to share my birthday, March 8th, with International Women’s Day every year. It may seem coincidental that I celebrate my birth-day with such a visible worldwide message. And inasmuch, I am a messenger. Throughout my career, and my life, I’ve celebrated and promoted women. This is not just a one day message, this is a lifetime message. And, this is not only about women, it’s about all of humanity, it’s about diversity, it’s about equity, it’s about inclusion.

I was fortunate to have had parents who embraced education and equality and taught us the importance and necessity of acceptance and embracing differences. This became the foundation of my lifelong philosophy, embrace equity, equality, differences and work together to create sustainable communities and quality of life so that our future generations can live in harmony. The International Women’s Day (month) strives to create a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.It’s with that I celebrate my birthday (March 8th) every year with IWD.
